Snapptraffic Consulting was contacted by Larry Jenkins of VeriStor. They needed a customer portal to help them manage their customer support system. They were already using Salesforce Cases and Assets to track the equipment owned by their customers and the issues arising with those assets. They wanted to provide a portal through where their customers could actually see these assets and cases.

They considered the standard Salesforce customer portal, but the look and feel didn’t match their company website or have all of the functionality they wanted. They decided that a custom portal would be the best solution.

We started by examining their existing website and designing a framework for the custom portal that matched the look and feel of their site. We also reviewed their current setup of Salesforce to determine what parts of their accounts, contacts, assets, and cases that they would like to present to their portal users.
